For a skinny guy building muscle, there’s an ever increasing number of calories to consume.
Each extra pound of muscle you gain, means you burn an extra 60 calories. So I’ve put on 5 lbs in 4 weeks. So each day, sitting at my desk at work, I burn 350 calories more than I did 4 weeks ago.
How cool is that!
Can’t wait to put on another 4lbs of muscle – then, just sitting at my desk each day at work, my extra muscle on its own would burn the same a Big Mac in calories each day.
Not that I’d eat one.
